How many of you out there have hooked up with other cafe posters while abroad?

We regularly have announced get togethers in the Mexico forum, and I see people hooking up in Peru and Argentina. I'm biased of course, but it seems the Latin America crowd here is more sociable.

I met a couple, one by chance as we were staying in the same hostel in Peru. Went snowboarding with one in Chile.

Well Kent is the only Dave's member that I have met. Interesting enough he is from my home state.

I think there are about three people in the Italy forum Sad

so slim chance of even arranging anything. Still, I've spoken a few times with one of the other members, 'tho never actually met up.

I've met a few in the Japan forum once and another recently at the JALT conference, and of course PMed a few others.

I work with one occasional poster and have met a couple more over the last couple of years. Wish we could coalesce a little larger group but it will take time. Ukraine just got its own thread within the last month so maybe by summer we can get more action going.
