Well done to that old chestnut.

Some more clues for B/C nobody has got them yet...

B)She has something in common with Sertab Erener, although as far as I know Sertab hasn't any plans to challenge Gl for presidency.

C)He doesn't look anything like Alan Rickman

Indeed it is.

In fact it's nice to know that Les Dennis=Carcass Sea in translation.

Still no answers for B/C

So a recap

B) She ran for president of a republic.
"Snowdrops and daffodils, butterflies and bees"
Rosemary's time.
Something in common with Sertab Erener
She might be a type of kebab.

C)President of the same republic B) ran for.
Aimin to be a giant.
He looks nothing like Alan Rickman
Whose side were you on in the civil war daddy?
Nickname!

Still no takers?

Looks like nobody is ever going to get B/C

so here are the answers...

B) Dana- (calf/veal) Won the Eurovision song contest in 1970 with All Kinds of Everything, which begins "Snowdrops and daffodils, butterflies and bees..." As Rosemary Scallon she stood for president of the Republic of Ireland and came third.

C)Dev (giant) known fully as amon de Valera, 1st Taoiseach, and 3rd president of the Republic of Ireland and a leading member of the struggle for the independence of Ireland. Played by Alan Rickman in that appalling film Michael Collins.

I'll leave the two new pictures for a while...

Can I put in a bid for fewer "famous" people and more objects? Less room for confusion that way.

I don't know how to put pictures on so ask you to form a picture in your mind for the next two offerings:

i) The green turf at eg Stamford Bridge/Highbury/Anfield etc

ii) The thick yellow stuff that is an important ingredient in a "Snowball".

Ok. I'll post more objects. Although I don't know how much easier it'll be.

In answer to your "virtual images".

for i) I'll make a pitch for some kind of b**tard , although that could actually be the answer to N).
I will have ii) consult my lawyer on whether that last answer was libellous or not.

Yes, Len Dennis played the role of Len Dennis in Extras. Written and directed by Stephen Merchant and Richard Gervais. He used to be relatively (in comparison to say, Bobby Davro) popular and successful starring in the revamped version of Family Fortunes.

He asked questions such as :- "Name a pet that is not a cheetah or leopard.", "Name something that is red that is not my cardigan".

Bob Monkhouse was in the hot seat before Les Dennis.

Later he was voted out of the Big Brother house after talking to chickens.

Quality stuff and The Sweeney is available on some DVDs.
