The BC check for bare minimums really, they check that classes do indeed occur (and the school is not just a visa factory) - and that the teachers are all at least CELTA qualified, paid on time, etc..
It is a regulatory body of sorts that I'm pleased we have - but it would be nice to have a higher "level", some kind of gold accreditation that sets you above the rest.. We can dream! |
