Hello. I was hoping someone could lend a hand to a fellow expat. I'm an artist from America who also speaks Polish but I'm looking for someone who has a place to share that speaks English. Anyone know of a place to rent in Warsaw that is not too expensive and descent for my self and possibly a friend from Holland? Also, does anyone know of any schools that are still hiring as late as February and March. |

Hi Eugeniusz,
Try this site http://www.hospitalityclub.org/ This is a free international hosting exchange, every country/city/town is listed no matter how big or small. These are not hostels. The members open their homes and hearts to guests.
There's no charges to join the site or stay with members (some simply ask you pay for your own food). The members all love to travel and converse with people from all over the world.
Accommodations vary, some only have a space on the floor to offer, some will give you a room to yourself. You always know how much space they have to offer because each member lists that info on his/her profile.
Once you see a person that maybe able accommodate you simply email or call him/her/them, and see if that member will be able you to host you during the period you would like to stay.
The length of time you may stay with members varies, but many people will let you stay up till a week. And there are usually many person offering hosting in the same area, so you can move from one member home to another.
You and your friend should be able to utilize the services until you are able to find permanent accommodations.
Good Luck

Hi again Eugeniusz,
I just checked the site, you should have no trouble finding hosts. There at least 1100 members offering accommodations in Warsaw. |
