Now I have been trying to get a job in Japan or Korea and haven't gotten a single response. I'm doing this just to prove my point that I will not be hired BECAUSE I AM QUALIFIED. They don't need qualified teachers only Western faces who speak English. This is why one month certificate like CELTA is all you need. (No offence to all the teachers overseas holding such certificates.) As I said, I already have a job that pays me well. I have no intention of working for bunch of halfwits and morons who know squat about education

Pardon my stupidity, but what was the whole point of this exercise? You sound like you you WAY TOO MUCH time on your hands... or else serious personal problems.

God forbid, I am experienced, have taught every ESL level, age group and most nationalities of the world, participated in curriculum building and cutting edge lesson planning, have had my classes observed/recorded/analyzed by professors, primary/secondary directors, etc. Giminy gilikers, Radioactive Man, DON'T HIRE THAT GUY!!!

WOW!

Yeah, you're right ... Japan doesn't need people with chips on their shoulder and a superiority complex.

Have fun in Brazil!

Needed you definitely are. Satisfied you probably won't be.

That is unless you have what Greenleaf has termed servant leadership capabilities i.e. the ability by virtue of your qualifications and experience and humility, to act as a catalyst for change from the inside out.

I would guess, from the way you come across here that this is unlikely but I may be wrong.
