Hi all,

I have a question regarding the criminal record check for Korea...unfortunately I think I may already know the answer, nonetheless I don't know for sure so I thought I'd ask...

Is Korea banning those with ANY charge on their record, or just sex/drug related offences? Two months ago while in a bar I stood up for a friend, punched a guy in the face and was charged for assault...I have hired a lawyer and it will likely be dropped before a trial, but I am worried I won't be able to take any teaching positions until it is completely off my record...

Can anybody confirm this one way or the other? Thanks a lot for your time.
