Has anyone heard of WNS Recruiting company before? They are recruiting ESL/EFL Instructors for the Saudi military in the Qassim Region and their pay seems to be very, very low.

why do u even bother if the pay seems to be sooooo low?

qassim is probably one of the most conservative and least welcoming areas in the ksa, unless u r a devoted muslim, feeling perfectly comfortable about mingling with local guys (and don't look very 'western' i know it is not politically correct but i am using it in the 'saudi' way now), you will be buried alive in ur compound

burayda was one of the very few places in saudi where i actually felt slightly tense and extremely conspicious wandering around in the streets

imho

The question was about WNS Recruiting...not the pay and not the location...those were mentioned to give some reference as to the company in question...but, thanks for the information anyway.

The rep. from the company has called me several times from KSA and we discussed the salary and other perks. I've been able to research most of the salaries paid by some of the major players in KSA for military language teaching...they seem to pay about 30K more per year. I'm still wondering if anyone has heard of, or has had contact with the hiring company WNS Recruiting.

In an above post you said the pay 'seemed very, very low'. In this one, 'they seem to pay about 30K more a year.' What's going on here?

It seems to me clear that all he wants to know is if anyone is familiar with this recruiter. If he wanted to discuss salaries, he would have asked about them.

Can we assume that no one has heard of them?

Nevertheless, the initial post alludes to salary, and salary, like it or not, is what captures many posters' attention in the Gulf- the prime motivator for working here. If the salary alluded to goes from 'very, very low' to 'about 30k above the norm' in a day, this is interesting information.

New 'recruiters' are cropping up all the time; some of them- as we have recently seen- bogus.

Yes, but no one answered his question. His salary comment seemed sort of an add-on that he likely now regrets. Laughing

One would think that you guys only care about money. Though we did get some interesting information on Qassim.

You might think that VS, whilst knowing it's not universally the case that guys posting here 'care only about money'. Personally, I do care only about money, and nothing else.

I take your point about the info. However to date it seems no one has heard of this recruiter. And if not, forum readers might logically wonder whether it's legit.; particularly in light of the OP's comments about salary.

Still, someone may well post after the weekend with some specific information.

Name of recruiter, but no other information can be found on the first page of ESL Forums website. Google the recruiter, but you'll find very little about the company. All I wanted to know was if ANYONE had any INFORMATION about the company...stop reading more into the question like it was some kind of a big mystery.

lterrys...

Since many of the posters here have many years of experience in Saudi... and none seem to have heard of them, I think I would just cross them off my list of possibilities.

I googled and found a fair amount. It seems to be an Indian company:

but a search at their job page produced this:

No jobs matched your search.
We did not find any teaching jobs in Qassim Saudi Arabia.

At any rate, there appear to be about 1,700 hits on Google:

Ah, here's the ad - found on ESLUSA, page 4 of the Google search (see above)
