| I did a Greyhound run from Ottawa to Kelowna, BC once. Never again. I'd rather walk it. Short trips are ok, such as Ottawa-Montreal, but I think I've been spoiled now by much nicer Mexican buses. |

Easy really. We won the war in 1812 and ever since we've controlled the US through Hollywood implants, namely Pamela Anderson and Alex Trebec. |
And William Shatner, Michael J. Fox, Jim Carey, Keanu Reeves, Kiefer Sutherland, Donald Sutherland, Mary Pickford . . the list is endless.
Then there's the late Peter Jennings.
I could go on but I won't, discussing nationality is tawdry. |

T'is, indeed. However, gearonson and I re-enact the war of 1812 about once a month, with the more gentlemanly choice of the pool hall as the battlefield.
After last night, I believe I'm up many games on you now, Yankee G. |

Oh, I see.
With the weather we've been having up here in the great white north I'm not wanting to go anywhere or do anything.
My last winter in this frozen land.
I ask, in gest, would you consider a Laura Secord type to join in your enactment? |

And don't forget Gordon Lightfoot, whose melancholy ballads I sang to this morning to get over a (momentarily) broken heart and Joni Mitchell and Buffy St. Marie and ... |

I heard a rumor that Micheal J. Fox and Vicente Fox are half-brothers, and part of some Canadian plot to make curling the national sport of the future Mega country called Mexanada. |
