| i dunno about herpes, but maybe one of the previous posters was talking about hepatitis. i believe the kind that's common here is of the variety common in many developing countries ... which one is that? b? c? i can never keep them straight. anyway it's contracted through drinking contaminated water, that sort of thing, not specifically an std. incidentally, a foreign doctor here told me one of the most common reasons foreign patients come to him is chlamydia. so use protection; foreigners tend to run in small circles. |

hepA is transmitted by water/food. B/C/E are blood. there is a twinX shot you can get which covers A/B in one jab. no vax for C or E and yes they are more or less death sentences.
chlamydia seems to be spreading like fire throughout asia. chlamydia can be spread thru body fluids - orally, thru the eye and esp via the love below. there are no symptoms in men (perhaps slightly swollen testicle/s); in women it leads to pid (pelvic inflamatory disease) and in both can cause sterility. the treatment is azithromycin or doxycycline (which is also used for nsu and ngu).
get tested! limit partners! stay clean! sex is not worth dying over.
hope this helps |
