Thanks for an interesting read! I went to Vietnam for 6 weeks late in 2007 and worked for 4 of those in a Foreign Language School as a volunteer. It gave me plenty of realistic experiences.
This has led to an interesting offer to work in Hanoi, for a more extended period (and paid, this time!). Sort of a reward for stepping outside the old comfort zone! Funny how "way leads on to way"!
