Hi, I am a 21 year old American college student who will graduate with a B.A in English in May. I have traveled to Brazil twice in the last year and I absolutely love it. I am looking into a few options for teaching English abroad after graduating and IICA seems very promising. The problem is that I would really really like to work in Salvador or somewhere else in Bahia and it seems highly unlikely that IICA will place me there. I can look into arranging a placement myself because I know of some schools and I have friends in Salvador, but I am not sure how feasible that would be. Does anyone have any ideas?
I have read every post on IICA but nothing about this topid has every been discussed. Please let me know what you think even if you are not sure. Thanks!  |
