Guys,
I have interviews scheduled with NOVA (12th), AEON (18th) and GEOS (30th). Within how many days do I have to accept a contract from these places if I was offered one?
From what I've read and heard NOVA would be my third option, but I don't want to turn them down (if I was offered a contract) and then have AEON and GEOS turn me down later if those interviews don't go so well.

I think you should be fine with Nova because they send their acceptance letter through the mail and give you 2 weeks to respond (I think it is 2 weeks), so you should have your AEON interview over and done with by then. The time limit for acceptance is generally 2 weeks for most companies. But even then it's my opinion that you aren't obligated to the company until you start the visa process and sign a contract.
When I interviewed and was accepted with Nova (about 3 years ago), I received my offer in the mail the day after the interview. But all of my friends who are getting recruited now have had to wait a couple of weeks to hear back from them. I think things will work out fine for you. |

You may have to wait a little while to hear back. If you accept with Nova first and then Geos and Aeon offer you a job, IMHO, backing out of Nova is no big deal. U will have a week or two (as april said) to decide, so dont rush it.
Good luck with the interviews. Hope you get the job you want. |

GEOS give you a week to decide. But I accepted initially and then pulled out about a week after that and they were OK about it -- I was very apologetic, citing change in circumstances etc (true).
Be careful though in the GEOS interview -- you are asked to sign a pre-employment contract agreeing that you will refund all their admin costs if you accept then change your mind. The costs increase the closer to your start date you pull out. I did sign it, cos I think if I hadn't have that would have been the end of my interview, but only after making very sure what the charges would be (they go up to a few hundred quid I think). I couldn't believe that most other people in the room were slavishly signing the paper without even finding out what they would be liable for!

How long after the AEON interview do they contact you about your success or failure? |
