Does anybody who posts on the Thailand thread study Muay Thai? I'm really curious as to the accessibility of the art in a Thai school. Are they hard to find?

Muay Thai gyms aren't hard to find (especially in Bangkok) and most of them will teach foreigners and beginners.

I dont know any teachers who train Muay Thai but I am planning to start in April.

I will be looking forward to the day when you share the story of how you broke a tree in half with your shin. Please keep us posted!

There are hundreds of gyms in Bangkok alone but not all of them cater to foreigners. I train at Ingram gym which is between sukhumvit 63 and 65. It's a great little gym which has a 'family atmosphere' and dedicated trainers who are interested in your progress. I found that many gyms throughout Thailand are more interested in your money than teaching you proper technique.
