Hi, I am working towards a general science degree in secondary education, allowing me to teach all high school science. I am very interested in teaching overseas with this degree (not conversation schools). I was particularly interested in E.Europe, S. America or Asia.
Are there any schools abroad that employ U.S. certified teachers, particularly American students? I heard there are private schools for expat children. Any other options, American students or otherwise? Thank you.

The private schools you are talking about tend to be the better ones to work for, but it sounds like private schools in general is what you are looking for (at least in regards to down South here).

Not sure where you are located, but a lot of the schools just finished up their job fair tour. It would have been good to hit one of those up if you were in the area. Qualified science teachers are often sought after.

If you can near yourself down to a country (or even several), then posting in the specific forum might lead to better answers.

International schools. Try these, but you usually need two years experience first.
