Any suggestions on where to look for job advertisements for women?
All the ones I have come across are for men...
Thanks. |

Yes, most of the jobs are for men especially the military contractors which are exclusively for men. I don't know what your qualifications are but there are positions for women in international schools and at women's universities. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Any of the popular ESL job sites will have ads for women when such positions become available. There is no special place or website where you can find only women's jobs. For example, if positions for men and women become available at, say, KFUPM, they will adveritse them together on all your typical sites. |

As other posters have said, there is no specific place to look for advertisements from employers seeking to hire women. Besides, since most of the employers which hire women teachers also employ men, often there won't even be a separate advertisement specifying female teachers. Do a search on this board for opinions on the various institutions in KSA which hire female teachers. |

I know that Prince Mohammad University hires women. It's a new private university that is in the process of being built. Also try the British Council. I know women who work at these places and they seem alright. |

That's a good question, because the woman I know who works there was hired from within Saudi. Then again, it was her who told about going to the website. Check it out. |

The British Council were advertising for female teachers in Riyadh and Jeddah (overseas hire) through TEFL.com some weeks ago,so it would seem that they do hire women from overseas. |

As far as I know, the BC only hires women from abroad as part of 'teaching couples'. |

It would be interesting to hear if anyone knows of a single woman teacher being foreign hired. I suspect that it is VERY rare... perhaps management or specialist positions like CELTA trainer perhaps.

I assume you're referring to the BC specifically?
Private women's colleges in KSA routinely hire single women from abroad. |
