I am a native born, native speaker from America, have a B.S. from an American university. I am now considering a Master of Arts (TESOL) program from Thailand. Will a masters degree from a Thai university meet the basic requirements of Middle East MOEs?

One can never say for sure, but I seriously doubt it. Some ME countries don't accept distance/on-line degrees from accredited universities in the West so I imagine they would be skeptical of a Thai degree whether taught in the English language or not. I also think it might be viewed skeptically within Thailand if you applied for EFL jobs there. But, you never know till you try.

In KSA no one would take this degree seriously. You might get a job in a private language school on the strength of it. |
