| How hard is it for couples to find homestays? My boyfriend and I are moving to Heredia and looking into finding a homestay to help us acclimate to the change. However, I haven't noticed anyone mention anything about couples staying together. Does anyone have any insight in this? |

| Costa Rica is somewhat backwards as far as openmindedness about relationships go, and finding families that are okay with non-married people living together in their house might be tricky. Doable, probably (I know people who could allow it, and people who wouldn't), but you may have to look around quite a bit. |
