Hi everyone,

Just a few quick questions about national health insurance in Argentina, through companies such as OSDE and Galeno (both of which I've seen mentioned here).

First, are these contracts actually readily available to people on tourist visas? (Has anyone here used them?)

If so, what sort of documentation/identification would be required for this? (would the usual travel docs-passport, license etc-be sufficient?)

....has a few seguro salud sites....i believe Salud S.A. is accepted in Argentina also...

when i got my Salud S.A. card i never had to show anything or fill out
anything...

might be better to google some blogs about people or "expats" currently living in Argentina
