Dragonlady's comments are important - it is good to consider all factors before you head out. I worked for a while in Korea with a young lady who was, how shall we say . . . mass-challanged (waaayyyy overweight). The college where we worked, however, had no elevators and you quite frequently had to go from the sixth floor in one building, down a hill, up another hill and up to the fifth or sixth floor of a building all in the ten minutes between classes. At the time I was about 43 years and quite fit and I would still show up out of breath and sweating heavily. She, however, only lasted one semester. She just physically couldn't do it.
However - those things won't always be a problem. I met a guy in Bangkok about a year ago - 72 - and he had to turn down classes as he was so popular.
Go for it! |
