If for nothing else, go to this site for some of the most beautiful pictures on the Net. But even a Theist/agnostic such as myself will confess that I think the words are worth some of your time and thought, too.

I wouldn't want to interview him. I'd be too scared. If you want to know what it is like, read the last few chapters of the book of Job and find out how it went. I cetainly couldn't question him. Can a clay pot ask its maker why did you make me like this? |

The scenery was breathtaking and the words were inspiring. But I have a little problem picturing an omnipotent God being surprised by the acts of his creation. |

Dear guest of Japan,
"I have a little problem picturing an omnipotent God being surprised by the acts of his creation."
Ah, but then there's free will. Why introduce that into the mix unless surprise was also part of the package? And, on a purely human scale, at least, I suspect that creators are pretty often surprised by their own creations.

Of course a Calvinist would say that there is no such thing as free will. Humans are pre-destined for heaven or hell by birth. |

The author did say it was a dream. I don't really mind if he miscounted the number of angels dancing on the head of a pin.
That was really beautiful. I don't think I can comment upon it in words. |

Well you can always e-mail the White House. Oh that's right, he only thinks he is God. |
