What's the word on this place (if anything)?
Quote: |
Curriculum Support Specialist are to work with teachers in elementary and high schools in Abu Dhabi. Required at least 5 years experience as ESL teacher, and as teacher trainer |
I suspect they're another vendor in the race for improving Abu Dhabi government schools. The company is based out of Atlanta. The salary range is quotes at 50,000-57,500 USD/annually. Seems unrealistic... |

They were recruiting at TESOL this year and yes they are part of the Abu Dhabi educational reform.
Salaries were advertised at 55,000-65,000 USD per year.
Apparently unsure of current situation - already operating at KG/Primary level but hoping to work in Secondary schools this year. |

THey don't say much in the way of requirements. Why such a high starting salary? Is that all inclusive? |

No, not inlcusive. They provide furnished accommodation.
I'm not sure if they know what requirements teachers need or what teachers they need for schools as yet.
There seem to be a lot of companies involved with the reform, Mosaica being just one of them offering a similar package to the rest. |

I talked with people doing the same job with ed. reform in Qatar. They were VERY happy working for Mosaica as opposed to the same position with other vendors (my last job!). The salary is about right. The company seems to take care of their employees. |

Great input, Bonnie pepper. Any chance you know how selective they have been in the recruitment process? |

I noticed Mosaic has operations in Baniyas and Abu Dhabi. I'm just wondering where the Baniyas employees live. |

They live in AD and drive to Baniyas.
At least that's what my friend does who works on this reform, but might not be for Mosaic. |

Where can we apply for this job? I tried on their website but it wasn't working very well. |

This job was advertised on another EFL site (that I'm sure the mods would not appreciate me posting). If you have all your info set up on this site you can apply for the job through that. |
