I don't expect blueberries, but are frozen berries easy to come by in more western-oriented grocery stores?

You can find any kind of berry in Abu Dhabi.

Start at the co-op. If it's a more obscure berry -- try Spinney's or Abela's. If that fails - hit a hyper-market or west zone.

I hear the new Lu Lu hyper markets are great.

I diagree with keifer - frozen berries are pretty easy to find - even in the backwater I'm in. Fresh berries are available but expensive - with the exception of strawberries.

You can definitely get fresh and frozen berries (including blueberries) in Spinneys in AD.

Careful!

Check where they come from. It's possible to get hepatitis A from frozen fruits.

I'm surprised that veg. product could harbour a viral strain.

Mind you, I've not done a "google" yet to research that aspect. But, to think that a veggie could play host to a virus! Yikes, yikes and more of 'em.
