Hi All

Happy Easter (even if it's not really celebrated in China) This goes out to those who have ever or are at the moment working for EF Shanghai, either as a teacher or DoS. Please feel free to PM me if you prefer as I know how much negative press EF gets and I'm in no mood for opinion, bitterness or hearsay . Just fact.

Do you get accommodation or allowance for accommodation thrown into the deal? I have worked for EF in smaller cities which do pay, not sure about Shanghai.

Also, what sort of salary are you looking at. I've read many mixed reports, ranging from 8oooRMB to 105ooRMB for a F/T teacher.

How about as a DoS, what sort of salary are they looking at?

Your feedback would be more than appreciated Smile

Hi Noodles

Have a look on the China Job Board. EF is advertising quite a lot there - if you click on the ad, follow the links and that will lead you to their website where all the salaries and job descriptions are posted.

Regards

The trouble with all the job advertisements are that they don't specify Shanghai. Always, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai and 50 other schools across China altogether.

Also, more often than not, they just say competitive salary. Again not specific Some mention accommodation, some don't. That's why I'd like to hear it from someone who has walked the walk!

Following the links in the ad, Noodles. They lead you to exactly where you need to be to do the walk yourself...

That's how we found out what they pay, what the conditions are, etc. It's right there in the job postings.

And after checking... I'm still in the dark because like I pretty much explained in my OP, I want specific information about Shanghai. Not general information.

So my questions still stand. Please oh please throw me a bone here!
