Hi
I have an MBA and a MSc in physiology. I am interested in teaching in these two subjects. Do these positions at HCT pay the same as ESL?
I looked at Zayed U but they only want PhD.
Is anyone teaching in these areas?
What other universities are there in Dubai?

When people talk about salaries in the UAE (like the 14,000 you mentioned)..what currency is typically referred to. Thanks

Franziska, the local currency is Dirhams (AED). Salaries are usually quoted in AED per month, not per year.

While content (business & health science) teachers may have some degree of "choice" of HCT college campus, be aware that should HCT can and has changed their mind when it came closer to arrival time. You can give a preference, but it doesn't mean that it will be taken into consideration.

This hasn't happened often, but it has happened. That said, there is usually the option to transfer to other campuses (if positions are available) later in your contract. Again, there are exceptions. The Sharjah Colleges director has allowed only 3 transfers (that I am aware of) in the past 7 years - anyone else who asked was not renewed.
