Hi,

We are a quiet family of five (children's age 10, 8 and 6) from Australia. At present we are living in South Korea, and we are thinking of moving to Bahrain to work there.

We would like to know:-
* the cost of living for a family of 5
* How much we are likely to earn
* what type/ standard of accommodation is likely to be provided
* living conditions in Bahrain
* how safe is the city/country
* how easy is it to travel around by car or public transport
* good, bad and the ugly points living in Bahrain

My husband has a Masters degree, BA and B.Bus degrees, a TESOL certificate, has worked at university for 6 years and has 2 years teaching experience working in South Korea as an English teacher.

If you know of other places/countries that are good to work in, or any suggestions about the Middle East, please let us know. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Helen
