In Mexico too?! There sure is a universal dislike for emos

Quote:
riot police were called after punk rockers hurled bottles at a pro-emo protest at the Insurgentes Traffic Circle.... The tension subsided after a group of Hare Krishnas marched through the traffic circle, apparently unaware of what was going on.

That would have been a tremendous sight indeed

That sums up DF pretty well...riot police battle suicidal emos, until a group of Hare Krishnas comes along for no reason, but they are held up in their march because AMLO protesters are trying to pull down a billboard for Chanel No. 5, to which several dozen Argentine edicanes are paying homage with candles, but are roundly boo-ed by Greenpeace anti-Japanese whalers stuck in traffic because of the gay pride parade.

Such is life in DF.

... though hanging on the beach in Mazatln certainly has its charms. We don't have manifestaciones here in Sinaloa, but there are shoot-outs between the narcos and the Army now and then.
