Hi,
I am looking into this school who offer a TESOL programme while working for them for 6 months. It sounds quite handy as it is much much cheaper than doing a CELTA or TESOL in the UK or Ireland and it is paid with accommodation too. I want to get the certificate and work in China so t sounds perfect. I have read the programme structure and it soudns pretty good too.
Has anyone heard anything or had any direct experience of this organisation?
If so, the other thing is:
I would really like to do a course that will give me the option of working in the UK, Ireland or Europe sometime in the future too. Is this one going to be of any use to me outside of China?
Thanks alot!
Dawn

Heres a thread about them from last April to July:
Will-Excel TESOL course in Harbin - dodgy or not???
http://forums.eslcafe.com/job/viewtopic.php?t=50619&highlight=excel+sunshine+harbin
Theres a lot of info on them. Maybe you can PM the OP and other posters to see if they took the course. Definitely ask the school for e-mail addresses of previous foreign student-teachers and ask them what they thought of it. Everybody should do this when considering any school in China.
Best wishes! |

Hi Dawn,
I'm a graduate of the course and a former teacher of Sunshine (they sponsored by Diploma). Here's a link to a thread lower on this page about Will-Excel to which I've responded.
http://forums.eslcafe.com/job/viewtopic.php?t=61370
There's also a link in there to another post made a few months back to which a different teacher responded to as well.
Keep in mind that this course is not a standard "certificate", but actually a diploma as it requires more work. It is internationally recognized. I've gotten job offers for summer camps in England and Japan (the only other places I've applied to). |

I also posted about this company in a previous thread but was wondering have you heard back from the company yet? They said they would be sending out results within 1 - 2 weeks and it is coming to the end of the 2nd week. |
