Hi everyone,
In your opinion, is it possible to find teaching jobs in smaller towns/cities in Chile, such as Valparaiso or Concepcion? Or are there just not enough language schools outside of Santiago?
Also, I was hoping to start talking with any foreigners who are now in Chile, as I will be heading over (somewhat blindly!) in the Fall. It would be nice to make some friends early on!
Thanks so much!

You'll find there are less gringos outside of say...Santiago, Valparaiso, Punta Arenas etc...
I am in Temuco and I think there are about 10 gringos (?) here and not all are English teachers.
I have a full schedule and so do all the other people I know. I think there exists more possibilities for privates.
Good thing life is a bit cheaper, safer and more cultural outside of popular areas.
Hope this helps. |
