|
|
Well tee busway has done it traffic is horrible Kota to Block M 3hrs. in the afternoon.
So this year is will add 45min. to travel time so 2 hr class +3.5 hrs travel =50,000 an hr.?
Ok no more business classes for me.
Has anyone else experienced that?
And yes they call it a busway, I know thats the name of the road the bus travels on not the name for the system; ask the Mayor why not me. |

I haven't gone into Jakarta for a couple of weeks, so I have no idea if the busway is making things better or worse; however....
I've been living in Jakarta for about 7 months, and I think the traffic has become noticeably worse in that time - before the busway opened. |

The MRT is about the only sensible alternative proposed. It works in Singapore, KL, Bangkok, HK and if it doesn't allow buskers or beggars or other free riders and doesn't stop anywhere, then it could work here. |

do the jabotabek trains (bogor - jatinegara/tanggerang - gambir - kota) still run or have the locals completely destroyed that as a reasonable means of travel between outer and inner areas of jakarta ? just wondering.

Train Ya if you ride on top is got a little more room; last time I rode in side I was carrying a cut of water and it was so crowed it smashed open, and worse yet I count rich it to thro it out.
Well I can say that the busway is a joke I rode an economy bus and we passed up almost all the other busses! O and there were 4 to 8 cops at every intercession to stop the cars so the buses could pass. How long will that last? |
