In my opinion no, it is not possible. Once we leave here, we scatter to the four winds, this one to Thailand, that one to the PI, the other to Florida. They have no way to find us.
That is the simple fact. They have not ever tried to establish a data base to get us our money. |

Much excitement. We were told there would be a meeting at three this afternoon. So I stopped by.
It was an unofficial meeting run by the guys who have begun a law suit against ARINC (DIFA being broke) for monies owed. They were very encouraging saying the Labor Ministry took the case very seriously and it had already been sent up to Riyadh.
They encouraged everyone to NOT give up their residency papers and NOT take an exit-only visa. Sit tight and await developments. They expect a decision in a week or so.
Gosh, this is exciting. I have never even heard of something like this before.
OH, in other news I went back to work today at the 15% pay cut. We hope to be able to solve this pay issue as things on the contract settle down. Three full weeks with no work. |

| I signed with the new company. I took a 25% pay cut. Some got more. I will give them two months to sort it out. Otherwise, I will move on. Darn shame. I love my job. |

The pay cut went from 15% to 25% in a very short time. Did you mean that some people got higher pay or got a bigger pay cut?
Apparently they think that they have hired a group of people who are desperate for a job... and will take any abuse. (welllll... true on that last part... you have definitely taken a lot of abuse over the life of this thread. )
Good Luck!

As I tell my students, "I am an English teacher, not a math teacher." I calculated my cut at 15%. Others have pointed out since I included the travel pay the correct figure should be 25%. In any case, they will fix it or I will leave.
They have already downgraded my half a car to a big yellow bus. This will not turn out well. |

It's been almost two years since the Kollsman contract ended.
Still waiting for salary, ESB and other money owed.
Lawyer says he's slowly making progress.
It appears that RSAF is getting very cheap.
Glad I'm not still there.
Good luck! |

| I figure we will never get our end of service payment. Some people are more optimistic. I am only here to be able to find a new gig. Had an interview last week and will do a demonstration class on Saturday. Nothing to it. |

dad said there's a new offer from a good company but since he's in the philippines at the moment, they need to pass the medical exam w/c is known to be a long process in our country...that depends if they pass all the medical requirements and bound to be given the offer...
just got a bit disappointed on that end of service thing...
i hope some miracle will happen... |

The new company (who cut our salary by 25%) has just missed its first payday.
Almost time for a new multi-year thread! |

The beat goes on, and the beat goes on...
Never once had that problem with Boeing, Lear-Sigler, or Raytheon. Only when the bottom-feeder of the Middle East, Lockheed Martin Middle East, and it's successors took over contracts have I heard of such blantent treatment of Western workers. Sure, we all knew the Saudis thought that we were stealing their money, it was only that we worked for contractors that had a sense that their name stood for something. This on-going drama disgusts me.
Hell, and I not even being effected like those long-suffering people who put up with it!
