|
|
I want to spend July and August in Russia. I have a TEFL, experience, and can fluently speak Russian. BUT! I want to teach for almost free, and teach those who cannot access decent English language education. I want to work for room and board - hence the 'almost' above. (am I still a volunteer? is food and a room pay?) I am trying to email Russian volunteer organizations, but, as has often been mentioned, email is not the Russian's element. Maybe a veteran teacher can direct me - I would like to go to a small town along the black sea coast (Anapa looks nice), or to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, or maybe even Tomsk. I'm avoiding Petersburg and Moscow, and the crowds and expense that come with both, as well as factory towns and so forth.
Any help would be appreciated! |
