Hi all
Just wondering...what TESL certifications other than CELTA are accepted/respected in the UAE? What do some of you have that were appreciated?
Cheers,

I would think any 'recognized' university that offers at the very least a one year TESL certficate program with a teaching practicum- component would be legit. Of course that is on top of a bachelor degree and / or MA degree.
I have a one year certificate in TESL from a university in Canada that had been accepted by the UAE Ministry of Education. |

I did the ole cert Trinity (CELTA's equivalent), though no one cares about that much since I finished the masters. |
