Hi there,
I need to send 10-15kg from Wroclaw to Australia. Does anyone know the most economical way of doing this? I don't care if it takes a month or two to arrive, as long as it will make it. I'm looking for something cheap, reliable, but not necessarily quick. Poczta Polska? DHL? Anything else? Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Will |

I expect it's the same as the system in the Czech Rep, where I've had to post boxes up to 15 ks overseas. At the normal Posta, they'll have a slow, but relatively cheap option. I usually take out some insurance on the stuff (that's also fairly cheap) and ask for the website so that you can track your stuff.
I think it's pretty universal now that post offices have excellent tracking systems - I can log on to the site and enter the tracking number and see exactly when my box left the country of origin, when it enters the country it's been sent to, and when it's expected to be delivered...
DHL, UPS, FedEx, and other specialist carriers tend to be FAR more expensive. |
