Hi, I am just wondering if anyone who has gone through the Peppy Kids Club interview can give me any info on what to expect from the interview?
Also, I am going as a couple and we would like to live together. It seems like Peppys will be good about this. However, after reading some of the posts here about this school I am wondering if it would be better to go with a company like NOVA, GEOS etc. Can anyone help me out??

My interview was pretty easy actually.Peppy's is an ok company to work for but you really have to enjoy kids.If you don't,I would not consider them as a potential employer.
If you want to pm me for more details, please do so. |

Thanks for your help. The interview turned out to be pretty simple. We just had some standard questions about job experiences, why we wanted to go to japan etc. There was also a part where we taught the interviewer for a few minutes. However, I don't think it was as long or detailed as any of the big 4. |

My interview began with an information session which happend on day one.
The second day, you were with a group of people who acted like children while you taught animals. It was really free to do whatever you want. Just be enthusiastic about it. Try not to be nervous and please smile
Then there was the interview. My interviewer was really nice. His questions consisted of going over your resume, asking you about your current job and experiences. Then there were some situational questions, ie. What would you do if a child comes to class crying?, what would you do if a student walks out of class? and what would you do if some kids were fighting in your classroom?
Be honest. I'm sure I didn't respond in the best of ways since I haven't had experience with that but I'm pretty sure they will let you know what to do during the training session.
Then you wait two weeks to find out if you are in.
Good luck! |

I just got offered a job at Peppy's today...to start in February next year. I didn't have any info seminar or group interview... All I had was a one-on-one interview where I watched a short video and answered some situational questions...Anyways, I'm sure I"ll have lots of fun in Japan. |
