In addition to the ACG international school, there is an ACG language school. They provide remedial after school tuition to students. Additionally, they have classes for the public the same as other language schools, ie general english, business english, ielts, conversation etc.
their salaries arent as high as those teaching at the international school.
malu is right, a lot of nationalplus schools will pay for one workshop with an IB trainer, then never follow thru with the program. however they will still use the logo or qualify it saying that they are in the process of obtaining their IB cert even though they have no intention of getting it. |

I should have added, the salary figure is per month. Which is 200-400% more than most language mills pay. As such, they have the luxury of only hiring appropriately qualified and competent staff. |
$2500 is for a teacher entering their third year post-qualification.
Isn't the teaching load at ACG 28 hours per week? Compare this to some of the better Nat. Plus school offerings, and you'll find the hourly rate at ACG isn't so attractive. |

$2500 is still the base salary. So if someone with 1 year experience were to be hired, they would still be on that salary. Just that ACG generally don't hire anyone with less than 3 years experience.
I'm not too sure on the total teaching load. I just know staff are very happy there, so I'd imagine it can't be too taxing. Whether or not it compares favourably to the likes of global jaya, tiara bangsa etc. I can't say.
I do know ACG also provide reasonable housing allowances on top of the salary range mentioned above. So that would bump the salary up another 10-20% |
