Hello,
Apologies if this topic has already been covered, but I have searched extensively around for information on private tutoring.
I'm arriving in Hanoi in July. Just wondering how difficult/easy it would be to get some private tutor work (as in teaching English, not learning Vietnamese).
I wanted to settle in before finding work in a school and have the funds to support me for a few months (although I would like to be earning some income, hence this post). Should I be going into any specific areas in Hanoi to find work? I know that networking, and speaking to people is always a good idea, but does anybody have any other tips?
While I'm here, does anybody know of any good job openings for the July period (I know still a couple of months away). I want to teach children (any age from pre-schoolers), have a TESOL cert, native speaker from Aus. Or the alternative, any students/friends that require/want private tutoring.
Oh man, this is a long post. Apologies.
Thanks in advance.
