Dear Takahiwai,
"Johnslat - this was from ghost way back when. How can you be so sure he is a ghost and not a ghostess??!!"
I cheated - ghost and I carried on a PM correspondence a while back when he was thinking of going to the IPA in Saudi Arabia.
I'm curious, though - why would you think having a bf (best friend in text talk) would indicate that ghost is a ghostess? Can't we guys have BFs?
Regards,
John |
if a guy has a male friend, one would generally just say "friend"
Honestly, if you say 'bf' the conotations are obvious! 99.9% of people will assume the guy is more than just a friend....'assume' being the operative word...to avoid confusion, why not just say 'friend'....however in the grand scheme of life...does it really matter??? NO! We obviously have too much time on our hands to be discussing this |

Dear John,
I interpreted 'bf' as boyfriend, which is how I've often seen it used. Presumptuous of me. At any rate it doesn't matter at all. I shall cease and desist forthwith |
