Hi again...
I have an offer at an international school in Kuwait. The pay is low, but I am a fresh graduate so I'm dealing with it. The package is 500KD (1,887 dollars) plus a living accomodation allowance of 180KD (600-something dollars). I need a private accomodation because I'm married. I'd like to know how much the cost of living differs between Kuwait, Dubai, and Al Ain. What is the minimum salary I should accept as a fresh graduate in an outside field???
Thanks,

I can't speak to the cost of living in Kuwait, but a newly qualified teacher in the UAE should be earning more than that. |

I tried to edit my last post and say, "a lot more" than the offer in Kuwait but, the page isn't loading properly. For the UAE I would be looking for a minimum of 10,000 dirhams/month plus accommodation (at least a 1bedroom flat). |

MM.
That really depends... a fresh graduate with a BA in education... or an MA in TEFL/TESL?
The OP did not specify what the degree is in, nor which level of education they would be teaching.
So for a BA in ed teaching primary/secondary school that might be a fair offer...
An MA getting experience... not sure.
I would say we would need more information before really being able to weigh in on how much a person should be able to get from the local "market."

Adorability,
I'm thinking for a k-12 position for a qualified teacher (not a uni teacher). |
