|

We have several teachers who had signed a contract to work for the next academic year (2008-2009). They all are going to finish their current contract, however they canceled the contract they had signed for 2008-2009. Since it was cancelled before the contract period started, everyone has said that legally there is no violation of the contract. The schools' managment however are saying they are going to not pay the staffs' indemnities and even the flights.
Now unfortunately what is law and what is actually practiced is sometimes different. Therefore has anyone had this experience before and if so, what was the outcome? |

easiest solution
say oh god, i'm sorry and i changed my mind i WILL (wink, wink) come back and do next year
collect the summer money and ticket
and never come back
all contracts and contract extensions have 100 day probation , so school must give summer pay and tickets
go to ministry of social affairs and labor on tunis? street in hawalli and register your case - school could drag it out till sept and all the time not pay you.....
now practice with me right now 'i'm so sorry, i changed my mind, i WILL return next year" |

LOl, But what about the indemnity? I think they will pay the summer pay, but still, you never know.
I was hoping someone has been in a similar situation and could tell me what happens in practice rather than what's supposed to, ya know? |
