Hey everyone, I'm in Bangkok and will finish my TESOL with ECC this Friday (I'm from the US and have two degrees). The next step is to find a language school to work for, and while I've posted my resume on Ajarn.com, and am looking at the job postings there, I figure I'll see if anyone here knows about any positions.

I'm looking for a part-time position (4 full days per week), preferably with the option to pick up more hours on the other days if I want to. My ideal job would be teaching conversational English to adult learners at a private language school or organization. I would consider anywhere in Thailand; it doesn't have to be Bangkok. The pay is not my foremost concern (of course when I find a position that I like, I'll try to negotiate as much as I can). Also, I'd like a six-month contract if possible.

If anyone has their ear to the ground and knows of something, please let me know. I'm sure with the large demand for English in Thailand it won't be a problem finding work, but I'd like it to be as close to my needs as possible.

Oh, and what do you all think of Ajarn.com - good place to put a resume and browse want ads, or is another site or job-hunting method better?

Thank you!

PS. Indiana Jones 4 comes out tomorrow and it's only 100 baht to see; I can't wait!

That's a pretty good site for Thai related issues.

Check out their "latest jobs' link at the top of the page, and you might find what you're looking for.
