After a year of teaching in Shanghai I'm coming to India in late August. I'll be volunteering in Mcleod Ganj for a few months, then traveling south for possibly many months, depending on how much I enjoy myself. I really want to spend a long time in India as it's been a dream of mine for years. I love the food, am especially interested in hiking and yoga (which I want to study for a while), and I want to learn about the culture. If I really love it, I may seek employment there.
So, what should I know, bring? Where should I go? Any advice any of you have is great!
