I have read at cdc.gov that there is Malaria in several provinces in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panama. I will be mostly in Heredia (the city). When will I need to take the Malaria medication? Has anyone been told they need Yellow Fever, Dengue Fever or Typhoid vaccines? I'm going to the doctor soon and I wanted to get info here from people who have lived or are living in Costa Rica.
