Has anyone heard of Khalifa University in Sharjah (or the new campus in Abu Dhabi)? What salary and benefits package are they offering for their recently advertised Lecturer position?

Anyone working there? I've never heard of them before. I could find no references when searching Google or this site (except links to their own homepage).

Does anybody have any idea as to what they are offering? They asked me to fly there, but they haven't told me the pay or benefit specifics. Oh, and I get to pay for my flight. At least, they didn't offer to pay for it, so one must assume that it would come out of my pocket. Apparently they can't do phone or video conferences either. I wonder how they are going to interview anyone from outside of the Gulf.

KUSTAR is an IAT spin off - the IAT University.

Salaries for MA/PHD applicants (lecturing positions) in Abu Dhabi are very low and accommodation is also a problem.

If you would like to know more, please PM me.
