Hi people!
Ive been lurking here for a while.
I'm looking for a place to buy a skateboard in Yokohama. I live about 10 minutes from Minatomirai. My google searches have been fruitless.
I'm a true beginner. Rode bmx for a few years but came to Japan and drank myself fat. You know how it is.
If anybody could point me to a decent shop in Yok/Tokyo i'd really appreciate it.

murasaki sports is a chain that, while a bit on the pricey side, carries all manner of skate equipment, jibber street boards and longboards, shoes and anything else you may need.
there's 2 in akihabara, tokyo, that i know of.
you may be able to find a store closer to you by navigating their website:

Kanda has a lot of them. Walk on Yasukuni dori and you'll find all the sports shop. Many many skate shops and snowboard shops. Good luck  |
