Hey, I'm getting ready to purchase my plane ticket to Munich. I'm planning on moving there and obtaining a freelance work visa and staying with my boyfriend for a year or so. Can anyone offer advice about what kind of plane ticket they bought? Roundtrip, one way, how long? I had been planning on doing a roundtrip for three months (so much cheaper than one way or six months), and then paying the change fee to have my fight moved back a few months if all goes well. I'm eyeing a ticket for around 925. Any advice from freelancers out there? |

It depends a bit on where you're coming from and what the 925 are.
There's quite a bit of information at www.tefl-germany.de. |

Wow 925 is pretty pricey... I usually never pay more than $500C,but yeah... we need to know where you are coming from. If you are leaving from Canada, I would suggest flying with Air Transat. |

flying out of dallas (dfw international)...plus summer is the peak season for vacationers, hence the more expensive fare. last time I flew out of LAX to Munich roundtrip for 605 including tax, but with the way things are with the airlines over here, I think I was lucky to pay 925 this time around. anyway I'm just looking for info from people who flew from the states; the price isn't a big deal, its the return info I'm looking for. Thanks. |
