Folks,

Has anyone dealt with the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission in the U.S.A. for the purpose of having their American degrees authenticated?

I would like to know whether one can send them notarized copies of the degree rather than the originals, and also how long the process usually takes?

Thank you.

Phone them up or email them and ask. If Ms Fatima Hashmi still works there, you will find her very helpful.

Ghost,

I recently submitted a visa package to the Saudi Embassy in Washington through an agency representing my prospective employer. The agency rep suggested that I send a notarized copy of my diploma rather than the original. Based on his recommendation I did that.

I'll post again when I get the visa to confirm that the cultural mission accepted the copy. Cool

The agent notified me today that my visa was issued and should be here in a few days. They accepted the notarized copy of the diploma. Very Happy

Hope this helps. Good luck.
