Folks,

Has anyone dealt with the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission in the U.S.A. for the purpose of having their American degrees authenticated?

I would like to know whether one can send them notarized copies of the degree rather than the originals, and also how long the process usually takes?

I recently submitted a visa package to the Saudi Embassy in Washington through an agency representing my prospective employer. The agency rep suggested that I send a notarized copy of my diploma rather than the original. Based on his recommendation I did that.

I'll post again when I get the visa to confirm that the cultural mission accepted the copy.

The agent notified me today that my visa was issued and should be here in a few days. They accepted the notarized copy of the diploma.
