OK,
I broke the rules, I allowed my thoughts to transgress from what I thought to be having a normal "conversation" with "normal" people into the morass of personal comments about one not "normal person" and to whom in particular I have developed a huge dislike. Not without provocation I must say.
"Mea Culpa". I set this thread off on what I hoped to be a decent discussion, once again on this, as he has on other threads, BFS decided to apply his somewhat twisted logic and has prompted some very ascerbic responses from me. So be it, I take nothing back.
Mods, If you want to close here, fine don't let BFS and others who derailed it make it worse.

Well, Mr Dyffy, I think it is not up to you to decide when to close this thread or to instruct the Mods to let or not to let other posters to post.
So, you have to steak to the rules, and since yourself you admitted you have broken the rules, then in this case I think you should get a yellow card so that next time if you make the same mistake you will get a red card and probably banned from playing in this virtual area! |

No. Although 007 writes a rather long, somewhat inelegant sentence, it does not have a comma splice. Duffy, however, provides a perfect example:
"I broke the rules, I allowed my thoughts..." |

007 -O.U.T. spells out!!
I requested, perfectly politely, that the Mods might think this thread is coming to the usual verbosely anachranistic end. Simple request really, not my decision, just a request.
BFS - get a life.
