I've read some post and these seem to pop up the most as the most recognized certificate overseas on average. Is this true for Japanese schools?
Are there any other brand names that have wide spread recognition in Japan? Thanks. |

You might get credit for having a 4 week cert from another organisation, and you might not get any particular recognition for having anything, but in Japan as in most places Cambridge CELTA and Trinity Cert TESOL are the most well known and respected. I.H. schools usually offer the CELTA rather than their own Certs. Doing your CELTA etc at a well known organisation like that can make your CV look slightly better, but doesn't usually make much difference.
