Hi. I have been researching making the move to vietnam tirelessly and thought I had it all figured out. Until I came across this tet business.
I was planning to do a Celta in HCMC finishing in mid december. Would it be impossible to find a job at that time? (with said CELTA, BA, and two years experience). I think I already know the answer but only ask because its really a then or never situation for me and would like to hear otherwise.
thanks |

Difficult but never impossible. If you do the CELTA with one of the bigger outfits, such as ILA, more than likely they'll keep you on and get you some work. Check out Language Link (Hanoi) also.....I believe they offer CELTA and you could probably stay on after completing the course. |

ok thanks for the reply.
however this brings a new question...really is there any point completing the CELTA only to then get a job with ILA?
I think perhaps not. |

Different strokes for different folks. Some people love ILA, some hate it. Do your due diligence and then decide. If ILA is not your cup o' tea, try LL. They have a good rep and most people are very happy there. There's some good threads out there and if you need some more info, PM Travelgoddess. |
