Also, what percentage of my salary would go to income tax in Maine? And what's the sales tax there? Thanks. |

many places have a scale for paying subs
subs w/ certification get paid more than
subs with degree more than
subs w/ less than 2 years of college
in many countries, you have to have a lot of paperwork done and then are put on a list for the county
meaning you can get a call for a job 40 miles away then after you accept, be ineligible for a job 15 miles away....
many districts have minimum standards (age and experience)
to answer your question, subs are subs - the bottom of the heap - regardless of your background you will get no respect from other teachers and admin
and of course you will get no respect from students |
